Symone

"I wouldn’t be where I am without Big Noise. It has supported me for the last 11 years of my life, every step of the way, from the Junior programme at the Royal Conservatoire, and now into my undergraduate degree, it has given me so many opportunities that would never have been available to me before I started at the programme.
 
I’ve performed in places I could never have imagined going to before - Venezuela, Germany, Italy, and Los Angeles. Before Big Noise I didn’t have many aspirations, like going to university, but now I have the motivation to be the best and do the best I can in life."

"Big Noise opened a whole new world and it changed my life. I have achieved more than I ever could have imagined.

I started when I was in Primary 2. They came into my school and showed us the instruments. I had never seen anything like it. I got to pick one to play and from then on it changed everything for me. Big Noise made me more confident. I was encouraged to perform and try new things. Having something outside of school was great. It was a different world. It was like a second family for me."
