Big Noise Govanhill launched in 2013 in the community of Govanhill in Glasgow and is Sistema Scotland's second Big Noise programme.

Overview

Big Noise Govanhill works with children and young people ranging from babies to secondary school age. The programme operates from Govanhill Neighbourhood Centre in the heart of Govanhill, and works with children from St Bride’s, Holy Cross, Annette Street, and Cuthbertson Primary and Nursery Schools, as well as pupils at Shawlands Academy and Holyrood Secondary School, through close partnership with Glasgow City Council. The programme is also open to children and young people who live in Govanhill, but attend school elsewhere.

If your child lives or goes to school in Govanhill, you can enrol them in our afterschool club via our online enrolment form here.

Big Noise Govanhill operates in-school with nursery children and P1-P2s, as well as delivering an intensive afterschool club from P3 and beyond. Holiday clubs are also open to participants during spring, summer, and autumn school holidays.
