A group of seven young people who have graduated from Big Noise programmes in Raploch and Govanhill took part in the event in the Jubilee Room of the Houses of Parliament, hosted by John Grady MP, where they performed for Members of Parliament and some of the charity’s funders.
After their performance, the young people took the opportunity to speak to MPs and funders about their experiences throughout their time at Big Noise and how the work of the charity has positively impacted their lives.
Whilst in London, alongside their visit to the Palace of Westminster, our young people also took the opportunity to see some of the capital’s other sights – enjoying a fantastic trip to the top of The Shard.
One of the young people that performed at the event in Westminster said: "Amazing and surreal trip - can't believe we were in Westminster last night. Super trip all round".
Another Big Noise participant said: "What an opportunity! Very surreal. A trip I will cherish forever."
