Samantha Blaney - Operations Manager
Samantha was born and raised in Wishaw, Lanarkshire.
She was musical from a young age and has studied violin, percussion, guitar and her one true love; voice. She studied performing arts at Motherwell College and then continued her studies at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Upon graduating, Samantha toured and performed in musicals and plays across the UK. She settled in London for a number of years and then returned to Scotland in 2019 to spend more time with her family.
She is dedicated and passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion in the arts and truly believes in the transformative power of music.
Mee Ching - Administrator
Mee-Ching is from the Isle of Bute and began playing piano at the age of 8 and also saxophone aged 12. She went onto graduate from the University of Strathclyde with a BA in Applied Music specialising in business. After working for various arts organisations in Glasgow, Mee-Ching worked for several years at the Scottish Music Centre, providing information on all Scotland 's music-making and promoting it around the world. She then went onto work at Glasgow Life City Halls education department before changing path to train and work as a florist. Mee-Ching has returned to music in 2017 as part time Administrator at Big Noise. Mee-Ching was formerly a member of the Bute Community band and in her spare time now currently a plays with Brass, Aye?
