Four months after their triumphant performance at the Big Concert, several members of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela return to Stirling on October 21st as part of the Venezuelan Percussion Ensemble.
This performance in the city of Stirling is part of the Ensemble’s first European tour and will be their only UK date outside of London.
Playing virtuosic arrangements of pieces from Traditional, Classical, Jazz and Latin repertoire, this world-class ensemble will demonstrate their skills on a vast array of percussion instruments, plus Cuatro (a traditional Venezuelan 4 string guitar), Electric Bass and Harp.
This concert is promoted by Sistema Scotland, the charity behind Big Noise Raploch. Proceeds from the concert will go towards Big Noise. The Ensemble will also work with the children of Big Noise in the days before the concert.
