Peter Nicholson

Peter is a graduate of both the University of York (BA Hons) and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (MMus). He has worked with amongst others the BBC SSO and Ulster Orchestra, and taught for East Ayrshire Council and Strathclyde University. He has established a reputation for improvisation and has collaborated with a wide range of musicians including Ravi Shankar and George Lewis. Since 2003 he has been an integral member of both The One Ensemble and the Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra.
