The Big Trip
In January 2014, 52 members of Big Noise Raploch aged between 9 and 15, embarked on an amazing ten day trip to Venezuela. At the personal invitation of Maestro Abreu, the orchestra rehearsed alongside new friends at Montalban Nucleo in Caracas before playing a "bi-national" Sistema showcase concert at the beautiful Centre for Social Change Through Music. The children also had an open rehearsal with Gustavo Dudamel. The Big Trip was a huge success and Big Noise came home hugely energised by the experience.

Big Noise Raploch celebrated its sixth birthday in June 2014. There is so much going on in Raploch now that one birthday concert doesn't cover it so we had a series of smaller shows. Here are a selection of photos together with some general rehearsal shots taken that week.
